The Stellwerk Zollverein e.V. organization offers a studio- and living complex free of charge to international artists on the grounds of the former coal mine Zollverein in the centre of the Ruhr area.

 

In addition Stellwerk Zollverein e.V. makes the renovated railway control tower available for meetings, conferences, workshops etc.

Scholarship 2006

For 2006 we announced our third international scholarship in the Stellwerk tower, shaft 4/5/11 (Triple Z, Essen, Germany). The scholarship competition was entitled „Border-crossing experiences and identity enlargement of the European consciousness between East and West “.
